Share Cloud Recordings with Students

Overview

When you record a Zoom class meeting to the cloud, the meeting automatically appears in your Canvas class under Zoom > Cloud Recordings. To share a cloud recording with students, make sure the video is published, and students can then access the recording under Zoom > Cloud Recordings.

Important - Zoom cloud recordings are deleted 180 days after they were recorded. You can download the video file and upload it to My Media if you would like to keep the video beyond 180 days.

Locate cloud recordings, and publish them to your students.

Go to Zoom then cloud recordings tab and then locate the recording and select Publish to publish the video to your class.

Students can view your published cloud videos by going to Zoom > Cloud Recordings

If you recorded the meeting to your computer:

Upload the video file to My Media.
Embed the My Media video on a Canvas page.
